Sam brings 15 years of financial services PR experience. In his 10 years at Cognito, he has run comms programs for some of the biggest names across the asset management, banking, fintech, and payments sectors, and is a strategic advisor to CEOs and Founders of growth-stage companies. He has led award-winning global campaigns and run comms strategy for some of the largest M&A deals in fintech. He excels at formulating strategic and holistic comms programs that deliver real business value.
Previous client experience: Alloy, FIS, Global Payments, ING Group, MarketAxess, J.P. Morgan Payments, Morningstar, SWIFT, and Worldpay.
He left Cognito because he saw a growing market of companies frustrated at not getting value from PR agencies and a need to do things differently. In 2025 he founded Pitchr to address the fundamental problem facing many companies today – how to successfully manage reputation through an increasingly fragmented and challenging media, in a world where AI is making it ever more difficult to be authentic.
A Brit, he lives in Princeton, NJ with his wife and two boys and is an avid football (“soccer”) fan.
